“ Monday visit so not crowded during happy hour. Sat at the bar and was wonderfully impressed by the bar tender. I would come back to this establishment just to have the "fun" drinks based on this experience. Very friendly... Happy hour pricing so wasn't expecting much. Was blown away by the healthy portion of rum in my rum and coke. Got to choose from Captain Morgan and one other I believe was Bacardi. I've had the BBQ years ago when they first opened. Remember it being good, but that was so long ago. That prior experience is what brought me back to this spot to start the night. This restaurant was established in 2010, so 15 good years of providing BBQ and fun times in Downtown Dunedin. Inside and outside seating. Nothing fancy outside so sat at the bar this trip. Will be back! ”

“ Amazing staple for the town of Dunedin. Menu is almost an ideal sports bar prototype with additional specialties. Wings and sweet potato waffle fries stand out to me- but there are tons of menu items that I'm sure would do the same if I tried them. The Smokehouse never fails to provide great special such as crabcakes. The environment is very nice- as you can certainly have your way- either with the indoor (sometimes intense) sports bar environment, or by feeling the comforting Dunedin breeze in the relaxing outdoor seating. The service is good here as the servers are very knowledgeable menu. I look forward to continuing to expand my love for this menu and enjoy more time at the Smokehouse. ”

We all enjoyed our food. The service was on the slow side so we had plenty of time to converse and to enjoy watching the many dogs at the patio as well as all the people walking by. ”

“ I always wanted to try this place and after my Sister and I read the menue we had to try the food here. First off the Hostess Maggie and Isabel were extreamly friendly and gracious, added to the fact that they both were wearing high top Converse which reminded me all the cool people in the East Village of my hometown NYC. Our waitress Emily was Fantastic and gave such amazing recommendations that of course we all took her advice. And everything was to perfection. The Best brisket that I've ever had and in NYC there's so many top notch delis. The brisket was very delicious and as requested hardly any fat. The garlic mashed potatoes were to die for as well. A creamy flavor and mouth watering. By 7pm there was a talented duo serenading every from the stage outside. This is a must destination for all my future Florida trip's and my new favorite place in Dunedin. ”

“ This place is on the super cute Main St of Dunedin. It was good but lacks a little flavor in the meat, for the ribs. Side dishes were normal and good but nothing amazing. The sausage was a great addition. I would go again when in the area. Service was great. Server stayed on top of drinks while we dined outside. ”

“ After a 2 and half hour round of disc golf in Clearwater, I was looking for 2 things out of a BBQ joint in the region: fresh-brewed sweet tea and if they were open on a Tuesday. After some investigation, Dunedin Smokehouse was the winner and it was a terrific find in a neighborhood with many other restaurants. I sat myself at the bar and was greeted by the bartender. I asked if she had fresh-brewed sweet tea and it did not fail as I gulped down 4 glasses of this sweet liquid gold. I went with the Porker Combo which is the 3 meat combo. I chose pulled pork and ribs and brisket for a $1.50 upcharge. I went with potato salad and beans for my sides. The ribs were amazing as they were St. Louis style, sticky, and the best part...I had to eat them with a fork! The pulled pork was tender and almost as good as the ribs. The pulled pork came with some kind of relish. The brisket was tender and better than many briskets I have had. The beans and potato salad were both made in house. The beans had a tomatoey smoky flavor. I never had a potato salad like this one! It was chunky with some kind of creamy conglomeration. I thought it was celery in it but turned out it was bell pepper, which was acceptable. There were 2 sauces on the table - a sweet sauce and an ancho mild pepper sauce. They also have other sauces you will have to ask for - a thick South Carolina Mustard that is close to a honey Mustard, a spicy ancho, and a White Alabama which was my favorite of the bunch. I will eat here again and you should too! ”

Out with MDW, #1son (my only son lol) and his lovely gf, we had this review; every item was rated a 5 Dry rub ribs Smoked brisket Corned beef Brisket tacos Beef barley soup Onion rings with a non greasy, most deliciously seasoned breading. Wonderful Mac and cheese Delicious, and potent adult beverages. I have found few dining establishments that have had even just a slight wrinkle with maybe just something, but T D S is one of them that hits every mark, we loved this place, and will definitely be back real soon... ”
